In addition to accuracy and robustness, the flexibility of measuring instruments plays an essential role in quality assurance in production. If a measuring device not only covers a measuring task, but is used for a large number of applications, costly individual and special measuring devices can be saved.
Precisely this flexibility is provided by the portable Multimar 844 T measuring gage from Mahr, which, thanks to its extensive range of accessories, can be used for almost all measurement tasks in production. Good accessories make the difference
The sturdy arm elements and the 3-point support of the stop elements ensure a tilt-resistant measuring movement on the workpiece. Standard delivery includes rest and mounting blocks: they provide practical help with mounting the accessories and are used to store the device safely. An optional protection bar for the indicator protects the dial gage against accidental misalignment while storing it and prevents it from being damaged by impact. All accessories are made of stainless steel to cope with all environmental conditions in the workshop.
A new addition to the product range, Mahr has a setting device that was specially developed for the Multimar 844 T comparative measuring device. The setting device Multimar 844 S and its elaborate accessories now ensure safe and repeatable setting of length dimensions. Cumbersome workarounds using loose gage blocks or masterpieces are now a thing of the past.
