Digital calipers for special applications

Since May 2016, Mahr offers the complete range of digital measuring slides for special applications. These are equipped with the most modern measuring system with integrated radio interface.

In addition to the proven standard calipers, the new range also includes types of pocket calipers with special measuring surfaces, universal calipers with interchangeable measuring inserts and depth calipers for width and distance measurements.

The “MarCal” calipers  with “Integrated Wireless”

•  are equipped with the "Integrated Wireless" system.
• The transmitter is directly integrated in the measuring instrument,
• It is energy efficient and does not require a separate battery.
• Thanks to the reference system, these Mahr gages no longer need to be set to zero.

This technology provides the user

• Significantly more freedom of movement. When measuring on the machine or on large workpieces, the user is no longer impeded by cables, but can move freely.
• The wireless connection also simplifies the recording and documentation of measured data. The measured values are sent directly to a small i-stick receiver, which is like a memory stick in the USB input  of the computer.
• A complete cable system at a cable price (ideal for beginners).
• With the MarCom standard software supplied with the i-Stick, the measuring data for 1 measuring instrument is stored directly and automatically in MS-Excel or in any Windows program.
• With the optional MarCom Professional 5.1 software it is also possible to directly and easily connect several measuring devices to different CAQ software tools, even via an integrated virtual interface box in Mux50 format.
