Interferometric measurement of aspheric form deviation in under 30 seconds
Asphere measurement in 30 seconds
The interferometer based on the Mach-Zehnder principle even measures very steep aspheres, and reliably detects medium and high-frequency errors on the surface at the same time. The entire lens is measured in a short sequence of interferometric images and takes about 30 seconds. The combination of the interferograms of all light sources depicts the entire aspheric surface. Since the MarOpto TWI 60 can test aspheres with a slope deviation of up to 8° (in terms of the best-fit sphere), the measuring system is particularly flexible and can be adapted to a wide variety of aspheres.
