Mahr unter den besten Ausbildern

In the 2020 CAPITAL training study, Mahr GmbH from Göttingen was able to place in the top group. With a result of 5 out of 5 possible stars in the apprenticeship category and 4 out of 5 possible stars in the dual study category, the study awarded the company the title of "Germany's best trainers". "This confirms our ongoing commitment to offering young people high-quality qualifications and thus very good prospects for the future," says Dana Irmer-Kirsten, human resources officer at Mahr and jointly responsible for the topic of training. Currently, Mahr is training 56 people in nine different professions, eleven of whom are going through one of the two engineering dual degree programs.

Background information on the study

For the fourth time, the business magazine CAPITAL, together with the talent platform Ausbildung.de and the personnel marketing agency Territory Embrace, conducted the study, which included more than 90 questions. Companies that employ at least five trainees or three dual students were able to participate. The result provides a Germany-wide overview of the best training companies by region and occupational group. The survey ran from the end of March to mid-June 2020. 666 companies, eleven percent more than in the previous year, took part, including DAX corporations, public authorities, SMEs and craft enterprises. Together, they employ around four million employees and 138,000 trainees. Of the participating companies, 495 achieved good or very good results in the area of training, receiving the "Germany's Best Trainers" award.
